WALTHAM, Mass. - The Saint Michael's College men's swimming and diving team finished in fifth place, and the women sixth place, on Sunday at the two-day Northeast-10 Conference Invitational, hosted by Bentley University.
Junior Dan Healy (South Burlington, Vt./South Burlington) led the way with a second-place finish in the men's 100-yard backstroke, coming within a second of breaking a 15-year old program record. Senior Aidan Warhall (New Haven, Conn./Notre Dame HS) Also had a strong Sunday showing for the Saint Michael's men, placing sixth in the 400-yard individual medley.
For the Saint Michael's women, junior Eileen Mullowney (Burlington, Vt./Burlington) had the best finish of the day, placing fifth in the 200-yard freestyle.
Saint Michael's returns to action on January 13 with a 3:30 p.m. meet versus Bentley, the first of five January home meets.
