Orediggers' Minschwaner named RMAC / Baden Offensive Player of the Week

GOLDEN, Colo. (Nov. 22, 2010) – Colorado School of Mines’ Dale Minschwaner has been selected as the RMAC / Baden Offensive Player of the Week, as announced today by the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.

A 6’6”, 215-lb. junior center from Albuquerque, N.M. (Sandia Prep), Minschwaner recorded a 17-point, 10-rebound double-double in the Orediggers’ 94-61 victory over Concordia (Ore.) University on Friday night, November 19th, at Lockridge Arena.  Minschwaner notched another double-double with career highs in rebounds (16) and points (tied – 29) in CSM’s 96-76 victory over The Evergreen State College on Saturday evening, November 20th, at Metro State.

For the week, Minschwaner shot .677 (21-of-31) from the field.  Minschwaner, who leads Mines in scoring (18.3 points per game) and rebounding (9.7 rebounds per game), was a unanimous 2010 Pre-Season All-RMAC selection.

The Orediggers (3-0 overall) will host Saint Martin’s University on Saturday, November 27th, at 7:00 p.m. at Lockridge Arena.
