Jordan Wilhelm led the Marauders to two wins during the first week of the season, including the game-winning shot in the season opener. With 45 seconds remaining in a 70-68 U-Mary win at MSU Billings, Wilhelm hit a three pointer to give U-Mary the lead and win. He scored 25 points against the Yellowjackets, making 6-of-8 three pointers. Wilhelm followed with 20 points in a 75-69 home win over Chadron State College, draining four of U-Mary’s five treys in the game. He also added seven boards. Over the two games, Wilhelm averaged 22.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game, making 15-of-29 (51.7 percent) of his shots from the field and an impressive 10-of-17 (58.8 percent) effort behind the arc. The senior guard also made 5-of-7 free throws.
