MIAA OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Eric Czerniewski, QB, Central Missouri
Czerniewski threw for 367 yards and four touchdowns against the top pass defense in the MIAA on Saturday, going 31-of-47 for the 34-21 win against MSSU. He helped the Mules come from behind early in the game, tying it at seven on an 11-yard TD strike to Anthony Stewart with 9:18 left in the first. He put the game away early in the fourth quarter on a 10-yard TD pass to Jamorris Warren in the corner of the endzone to make it 31-14 with 9:47 remaining. It was Czerniewski’s 16th career 300-yard game, and the eighth this season. He also broke the school record held by Toby Korrodi with the first of his four TD passes, bringing his total to 30 at that point (It is now 33).

MIAA DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Dakota Palan-Johnson, DE, Washburn
Palan-Johnson recorded a career-high 11 tackles from a defensive end position helping to hold the Bulldogs to 194 total yards with 87 passing yards and 107 rushing yards. He also recorded a tackle for loss and a sack for 3 yards. The Bulldogs gained 97 yards on 18 plays in the first quarter but only 97 on their final 52 plays.

MIAA SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Camren Torneden, RB, Nebraska-Omaha
Torneden had two kickoff returns for 131 yards, including a 94-yard return for a touchdown midway through the second quarter to give Nebraska-Omaha the lead for good in a 48-27 victory over Pittsburg State.
