Bobcat Golf Hall of Famer David Robinson Advances through Second Round of Q-School

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Former Georgia College golf standout David Robinson has advanced through the second round of qualifying school. The tournament was held in Humble, Texas from Nov. 16-19 at the Redstone Golf Club.

Robinson shot two-under par at the tough par-72 course, tying for ninth place. Nineteen qualifying positions advanced to the final qualifying stage, plus those tied for the last qualifying position.

Robinson shot 71 in the first round, 73 in the second, 72 in the third and 70 in the final round. He recorded 13 birdies and 48 pars through four rounds of play.

The final qualifying tournament will be held in Winter Garden, Fla. at Orange Country National Golf Center and Lodge from Dec. 1-6. Dec. 4-5 will be televised on the golf channel from 1-4 p.m. and Dec. 5 will be televised from 12:30-4 p.m.
