Murphy voted to NCCSIA All-State team

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Mars Hill volleyball libero/defensive specialist Maggie Murphy was named to the 2010 All-State Volleyball Team for the college division, the North Carolina Sports Information Association (NCCSIA) announced. The 2010 team is comprised of six players from three different institutions.

In November, Murphy was named second team All-South Atlantic Conference. She was second in the conference with 6.31 digs per set.

The squad consists of student-athletes from NCAA II, NCAA III and NAIA colleges and universities in North Carolina. Institutions' sport information directors nominate deserving players and select the best representatives from each position. More than 850 student-athletes have been recognized on NCCSIA all-state teams since 2003.
