Mines moves to 9-0 with 82-76 victory over Chadron State

GOLDEN, Colo. (Dec. 18, 2010) – Colorado School of Mines defeated Chadron State College by the score of 82-76 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) men’s basketball action on Saturday night, December 18th, at Lockridge Arena.

The Orediggers, who are undefeated at 9-0 overall (5-0 RMAC), got a 17-point, 12-rebound double-double from Trevor Wages.  Brett Green finished with 15 points while Dale Minschwaner (seven rebounds) and Sean Armstrong contributed 13 points apiece.

The CSM program record for consecutive victories is 11 (December 13th, 2002 – January 23rd, 2003).

Chadron State (5-5 overall, 3-3 RMAC) got 17 points from Moala Tautuaa (8-of-13 FG).

The Orediggers will host N.M. Highlands University and Western N.M. University on Sunday and Monday, January 2nd and 3rd.  Both games are scheduled to begin at 8:00 p.m. at Lockridge Arena.
