Ferris State's Jerrell Sanders Featured On ESPN'S Top 10 Plays!

Big Rapids, Mich. - Ferris State University men's basketball player Jerrell Sanders (Grand Rapids/Creston) flew across the floor and into homes around the nation as he was featured on ESPN Sportscenter's Top 10 Plays for Wednesday (Dec. 1).

The 6-6 junior forward came in at number eight among the day's top 10 plays for his highlight-reel dunk at Kentucky Wesleyan last Saturday (Nov. 27) in the Owensboro Classic.  Sanders showed his athleticism when he took off near the free throw line and skied thru the air to slam it home in the battle of nationally-ranked teams.

Sanders' dunk first appeared on Wednesday's late night edition of Sportscenter when the top 10 plays were announced.  The segment continued to run throughout the night and on the Thursday (Dec. 2) morning episodes of Sportscenter under Wednesday's Top 10 Plays with various on-air personalities discussing the dunk.

A Grand Rapids native, Sanders is midst his first season on the floor for the Bulldogs after joining the team at midseason a year ago.  He finished with seven points and six rebounds in the loss to Kentucky Wesleyan.
