Indianapolis - The NCAA announced the field of 48 teams from the eight regions around the nation in Women's Soccer. A victory in the NSIC / U.S. Bank Soccer Tournament and a NSIC Regular Season Championship propelled the Winona State soccer team to the second seed in the NCAA Division II Regional Tournament. The Warriors will host the first two rounds of the tournament in Winona. By virtue of their home field advantage, the Warriors will receive a first round bye in the tournament.
Regis (CO) and New Mexico Highlands will kick off the regional with a 1:00 pm game on Friday, November 12th at Verizon Wireless Stadium. The Warriors will then play the winner Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
The Warriors have already played Regis this season, coming away with a 1-0 win on September 12 in Winona, Minn.
