KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Defending NCAA Division II national champion Cal Poly Pomona, who headed up the NABC/Division II pre-season rankings, is the No. 1-ranked team in the first 2010-11 regular season poll after coming away victorious in its season opener last week.

The Broncos retained the top spot from the pre-season rankings, but No. 2-ranked Indiana (Pa.) lost to Bowie State to allow several teams to move up.  Findlay, winner of its first four games of the year, moves up to the second spot this week followed by Bellarmine and Grand Valley State.  Winona State, ranked ninth in the pre-season, vaulted to the fifth spot this week.

The next five spots are occupied by Tarleton State, South Carolina Aiken - who opened with a road win at pre-season No. 6 Florida Southern - Alabama-Huntsville, West Liberty and Central Oklahoma.  Alabama-Huntsville and Central Oklahoma are both 5-0 through the first 11 days of the 2010-11 season.

Metropolitan State begins the second ten at No. 11, followed by Indiana (Pa.), who is the highest-ranked team with a loss in this week's rankings.  Montevallo, Central Missouri and Rollins complete the top 15.  Kentucky Wesleyan is the highest-ranking team debuting this week in the No. 16 spot, with Clark Atlanta, Fort Hays State, Cal State-Dominguez Hills and Augusta State rounding out the top 20.
