Griffon Football Ranked 7th in first South / Central Regional Poll

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – After a convincing 42-14 victory over the Emporia State Hornets last weekend in St. Joseph, Mo. the Griffons improve to 6-3 overall. The Griffons are ranked 7th in the first South Central Regional Poll which was released on Monday, November 1.

Western will hit the road for their final road contest of the regular season on Saturday, November 6 when they take on the Nebraska-Omaha Mavericks in Omaha, Neb. Kickoff is set for 1:00 pm from Al. F. Caniglia Field.

Three other MIAA school are ranked in the poll with Central Missouri sitting in second, Northwest Missouri State in fourth and Washburn in 10th.
