FSU’S Gray named to CIAA All-Rookie Team

Broncos’ tight end caught four TD passes this season

FAYETTEVILLE, NC – Fayetteville State tight end Dallin Gray was named to the CIAA’s All-Rookie team on Tuesday evening.

Gray (Fr., Colorado Springs, CO) finished his first year with the Broncos with four touchdown receptions, tied for second-most on the team. He played in all 10 games, and served as the team’s long-snapper for much of the season as well.

Gray, a 21-year-old true freshman, came to Fayetteville State after serving his two-year mission in Portugal as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ and Latter Day Saints. Gray’s father, David, is an associate professor at FSU.

Winston-Salem State University’s Tehvyn Brantley and Shaw University’s Darnell Evans headline the All-Rookie team as Offensive and Defensive Rookies of the Year, respectively. The team is voted on annually by the CIAA Sports Information Directors’ Association.
