FMU freshman forward selected to All-PBC soccer squad

FLORENCE, S.C. – Francis Marion University freshman forward Alex Blandin has been named to the Peach Belt Conference 2010 Men’s Soccer All-Conference Team.

Blandin, a native of Shreveport, La., was selected to the 12-member second-team All-PBC squad.
Blandin played in all 18 matches this past season, starting 16 times. He led the Patriots with five goals scored, including a pair of match-winners.  Seventeen of his 27 shots were on frame.

Francis Marion finished the 2010 campaign with a 7-10-1 record, and placed fifth during the PBC regular season.

Blandin is a former All-State and All-District performer at Caddo Magnet High School.
