Bloomsburg University Women's Swimming Falls to Clarion

CLARION—The Bloomsburg University women’s swim team lost to Clarion by a score of 178-118 on Saturday.

Bloomsburg’s top swimmers for the day were Miranda Steel (Hillsborough, NJ, Hillsborough) and Brittany McNeil (Oxford, Oxford Area)with both a first and second place finish. Steel was first in the 500-free in 5:26.81 and second in the 1000-free in 11:14.51. McNeil was first in the 100-breast in 1:08.73 and second in the 200-breast in 2:28.92.

In addition, Kayla Weisenbach (Lincoln University, Avon Grove) was second in the 200-free in 2:02.99, while Sarah Grawe (Stafford, VA, North Stafford) was second in the 200-back in 2:21.66.

Bloomsburg swims again Dec.2-4 at the Zippy Invitational at the University of Akron.
