Dominican's Guevara Named to 2010 NSCAA Division II All-West Region Team

SAN RAFAEL, Cailf. — Dominican University of California men's soccer midfielder Pedro Guevara has been named to the 2010 NSCAA/Performance Subaru Men's NCAA Division II All-West Region Third Team.

The Santa Rosa, Calif. native (Montgomery HS), posted a team-leading eight goals and four assists, was fifth in the Pacific West Conference in total shots and shots per game, tied for fourth in goals, points and goals per game, tied for fifth in points per game, and tied for tenth in assists.

Guevara also earned a place on the 2010 Pacific West Conference First Team. He was named PacWest Men’s Soccer Player of the Week on October 18 with a pair of goals and an assist in games played October 11-17.
