ST. AUGUSTINE’S, Fla. --- Tusculum College forward Tramicka James has been named to the 2010 Daktronics NCAA Division II All-Southeast Region Women’s Soccer First Team.  James now advances to the Daktronics All-America ballot, which will be announced later this month.

James, a 5-4 sophomore forward from Wilson, N.C., returns to the Daktronics All-Region squad after earning Second Team accolades last year during her rookie campaign.  The 2010 All-South Atlantic Conference First Team honoree led the league in goals per match and is currently 15th in NCAA II averaging 0.90 goals per contest (2nd in Region).

The Fyke High School graduate has scored 17 goals this season to rank sixth on the Tusculum single-season list, while her 28 career goals are tied for fifth all-time in school history.

Overall, James led the Pioneers with 17 goals and 38 points, and shared the team-lead in match-winning goals with three. The two-time All-Conference and All-Region standout scored at least one goal in eight of Tusculum's last 10 matches, amassing 14 goals and three assists for 31 points over that span.  Her 17 total goals are 17th in the nation (3rd in Region), while her 38 total points are 22nd (T3rd in Region).

Tusculum finished the season with a 9-9-1 record, while advancing to the semifinal round of the Food Lion SAC Tournament for the 10th time since joining the league in 1999.

The Daktronics NCAA II All-Southeast Region Women’s Soccer Team is selected by a vote of the region’s sports information directors.
