AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) announced the Women's Soccer All-Academic team from the conference office as Georgia College had six student-athletes named to the teams.

A trio of seniors, Jessica Binkowski (Cumming, Ga.), Mary Rob Plunkett (Augusta, Ga.) and Ally Treat (Fayeteville, Ga.) were named to the 2010 All-Academic Team.

Senior Jessica Newland (Hiram, Ga.), junior Megan McAlpin (Newnan, Ga.) and sophomore Anna Wierzbicki (Newnan, Ga.) were honorable mention nominees. The award is a first for Newland and Wierzbicki.

Binkowski, Plunkett, Treat, Newland and McAlpin were each named to the PBC All-Academic Team last year. This marks the third time in Binkowski and Treat’s career to receive this honor while Plunkett and McAlpin have now received the honor twice.
