Saint Michael's Swimming & Diving Continues Early Success With Sweep At Clarkson

POTSDAM, N.Y. - The Saint Michael's College swimming and diving team continued its strong showing to the season on Saturday afternoon at Clarkson University, with the men earning a 124-97 win, and the women cruising to a 152-74 victory.

Junior Eileen Mullowney (Burlington, Vt./Burlington) was perfect on the afternoon, winning three individual and two relay events for the Purple Knight women. She earned wins in the 50-yard freestyle, the 100-yard freestyle, and the 200-yard freestyle, and swam the anchor leg in the winning 200-yard free relay.

Also for the Saint Michael's women, sophomore Katie Cox South Hadley, Mass./Holyoke Catholic) posted victories in the 400-yard freestyle and 800-yard freestyle, while senior Hannah Houley (Brookline, Mass./Brookline) won both one-meter diving events.

For the Saint Michael's men, senior Alex Stott (Plymouth, Mass./Sturgis Charter Public School) won both one-meter diving competitions, while junior Dan Healy (South Burlington, Vt./South Burlington) recorded wins in the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard backstroke.

Saint Michael's returns to action on Wednesday with a 4 p.m. meet at Norwich University.
