Lock Haven, Pa. - Edinboro players swept the awards on the West side as Clint Nicholson was awarded the PSAC West Athlete of the Week and Courtney Harden-Pullium was named the West Freshman of the Week as they helped lead the Fighting Scots to a 1-1 record in two overtime games. In the East, Lance McDowell of West Chester was honored as the PSAC East Athlete of the Week and Bloomsburg's Dontahe Jordan was awarded PSAC East Freshman of the Week.

PSAC West Player of the Week
Clint Nicholson, Edinboro
Jr., G Fairport, Ohio/Eastlake North
Nicholson was named the Clarion Hotel Conference Challenge MVP after averaging 25.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists in Edinboro's first two games. Edinboro dropped its season opener in a hard-fought 83-80 overtime loss to Alderson-Broaddus on Friday night. In that game, Nicholson had 21 points and four rebounds while adding three assists and a block. However, in the second game, he led Edinboro to its first win of the season in a hard fought battle with Shepherd. He scored 30 points while collecting eight rebounds in a game that took two overtimes to decide the winner. Nicholson scored five of his 21 points in the second overtime as Edinboro pulled away to a 106-95 win. He also added three assist, a block, and a steal in the game. For the week, he shot 50 percent from the field (16-for-32), 55.6 percent from three-point range (10-for-18) and 75 percent from the free throw line (9-for-12).
PSAC West Freshman of the Week
Courtney Harden-Pullium, Edinboro
Fr., G Erie, Pa./ trong Vincent
Harden-Pullium had a strong outing in his first action at the collegiate level. In two games, he averaged 12.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 3.5 steals to help the Fighting Scots to a 1-1 record. In the overtime loss to Alderson-Broaddus, he scored nine points, grabbed two rebounds and dished out four assists in 35 minutes of action. Then, in a the double-overtime win over Shepherd, he scored 15 points, had five boards, four assists and four steals while playing 46 of the 50 minutes in the game.
PSAC East Player of the Week
Lance McDowell, West Chester
Jr., F Philadelphia, Pa./Com Tech
McDowell scored a game-high 21 points in West Chester’s season-opening 85-76 win over Wilmington on Saturday. He led an exhausting 55-point, second-half comeback, as he registered 18 of his 21 points in the final 20 minutes of play. His effort turned a 13-point deficit at halftime into a nine-point victory. He also added two blocked shots, grabbed five rebounds, and contributed a pair of steals in the game. McDowell finished 8-for-11 from the field, including two dunks, and hit on 5-of-6 free throws in the game.
PSAC East Freshman of the Week
Dontahe Jordan, Bloomsburg
Fr., F Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport
Jordan posted a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds in his collegiate debut to help lead Bloomsburg to an 82-64 win over Penn State Schuylkill. He finished the game 3-8 from the floor and connected on 5-6 free throws, while his 10 rebounds finished as a game high.
