Nikiforov Claims Third Straight Goalkeeper of the Week Award

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University’s Mike Nikiforov (Framingham, Mass./Framingham) earned his third straight Northeast-10 Men’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week award, the conference announced on Monday.

Nikiforov helped Bentley reach its first NE-10 Tournament final since 1994, making 11 saves in the three games, earning him All-Tournament honors team as well.

The graduate student had a fabulous year for the Falcons, compiling a record of 9-3-6 in 19 starts and nine shutouts. He finished third in the conference in goals against average with a 0.66 mark and fourth in save percentage at .863
