EASTON, MA – The Merrimack men’s cross country team placed 11th at Sunday at the Northeast-10 Championships hosted by Stonehill College.
Harry Mullin (West Hartford, CT) was Merrimack’s top runner, finishing 59th in 27:05. John Lawrence (Peabody, MA) was 75th overall, while Pat Lawlor (Haverhill, MA) (83rd), and Evan Mercier (Burlington, MA) (89th) also placed in the top-90.
AIC’s Glarius Rop was the top runner, while Jeff Veiga and Angus MacDonald from Lowell were second and third.
UMass Lowell captured the event, with Stonehill, Bentley, Southern Connecticut and AIC rounding out the top five.
The Warriors were picked to finish 13th according to the Northeast-10 Coaches Preseason Poll.
Merrimack competes at the Northeast Regionals on September 21.
