Horseman Named Bobcat Athlete of the Week

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Junior Daniel Horseman (Cohutta, Ga.) of the Georgia College cross country team was named Bobcat Athlete of the Week for the week ending Nov 7. This marks the second such honor for Horseman and the third for Bobcat cross country program this season.

Horseman took eighth this weekend at the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Championships, good for an All-PBC Second Team selection. Pacing the Bobcats for the fourth time this season, Horseman crossed the finish line in the 8K race at 26:18, listed as second in the school record books. Horseman became the first All-PBC runner for the Bobcat men since 2007. All-time, Bobcat men have now won seven All-PBC accolades.
The Bobcats are back in action Nov. 20 at 10 a.m. in the NCAA Southeast Regional in Charlotte, NC.
