FAYETTEVILLE, NC – The Fayetteville State men’s and women’s basketball teams will unofficially tip off the new 2010-2011 season with an evening of festivities with the Basketball Frenzy Spirit Night on Tuesday at Felton J. Capel Arena.
The men’s and women’s teams will be introduced during the event, which begins at 7 p.m. The myriad festivities will include performances by the Broncos Xpress Pep Band, led by director Alfred Davis, as well as the University’s cheerleading squad, Cheer Phi Smoov.
There will also be a student dunk contest – for men and women – as well as a “step-off” between campus fraternities and sororities.
Admission is free.
