Five Falcons Named to PBC All-Conference Teams

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The University of Montevallo men’s soccer team (16-2-1) was awarded five spots on the Peach Belt Conference All-Conference Teams. Senior Nathaniel Foster (Brampton, Ontario/Humberview Secondary School), senior Milan Pualic (Subotica, Serbia/Srednja Ekonosmka Skola School) and senior Austin McIntosh (Sheffield, England/All Saint Catholic) were all named to the First Team while freshman Gary O’Neill (Dublin, Ireland/Presentation College) and freshman Brendan Ledgeway (York, England/All Saints) were named to the Second Team.

Foster ranks first in points (29), points per game (1.71), goals (13) and goals per game (0.76). He also ranks third in shots (52) and shots per game (3.06) in the PBC. Pualic ranks first in assists (8), second in assists per game (0.44), fourth in points (24), points per game (1.33), goals (8) and goals per game (0.44) and fifth in shots (44) in the conference. McIntosh, O’Neill and Ledgeway are part of a defense that ranks second in shutouts (9), third in goals against average (0.71) and third in goals allowed (14).

This was the second All-PBC First Team selection for Foster and third All-Conference selection after being named Second Team All-Gulf South Conference his sophomore season. Pualic was named Second Team All-PBC last season and First Team All-GSC his sophomore season.

McIntosh was selected to the NSCAA/adidas All-Southeast Region team last season but was not named on the All-PBC list.

Foster, Pualic, McIntosh, O’Neill, Ledgeway and the rest of the Falcons will be back in action this evening, Nov. 5 at 6:30 p.m. as they take on No. 1 seed Clayton State University in the semifinals of the Peach Belt Conference Tournament.
