Bloomsburg Field Hockey Earns NCAA Playoff Berth

BLOOMSBURG--The four-time defending national champion Bloomsburg University field hockey team earned a berth in the 2010 NCAA Division II championships it was on Sunday.

The Huskies, 18-2, will be the second seed from the South Region, and will host the third seed, East Stroudsburg, on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Sports Stadium.

The winner of the game will advance to face the top-seed Shippensburg on Thursday, Dec 2 in
Louisville, Ky. as part of the NCAA Division II Sports Festival.

Bloomsburg just beat East Stroudsburg on Saturday for the PSAC championship, 2-1 on Saturday.
