Five Dominican Student-Athletes Earn Weekly Conference Honors

PHOENIX, Ariz. — Five Dominican University of California student-athletes have been named to the Pacific West Conference Weekly Top 10 Honor Roll in their respetive sports for the week of October 25 to 31. Julianna Bratsberg and Bridget Folan were named to the women's soccer honor roll. Jonathon Glocknitzer, Kevin So, and Josh Tegeler were named to the men's cross country honor roll.

Bratsberg, a sophomore from Santa Rosa, Calif. (Maria Carrillo HS), recorded a natural hat-trick by tallying the game’s final three goals in a 4-0 thumping of Academy of Art University on Saturday, October 30, finishing the game with six points. 

Folan, a senior from Pacifica, Calif. (Sacred Heart Cathedral Prep), was credited with the game-winning goal against AAU and added an assist for three points.

Glocknitzer placed 10th overall and third among Penguin runners at the Dominican Invitational in Golden Gate Park on October 26. The Minden, Nev. (Douglas HS) native covered the 5K course in 22:00.63.

So wound up sixth overall and first among Penguin entries. The San Leandro, Calif. (Chinese Christian Schools) native posted a mark of 20:24.35.

Tegeler placed eighth overall and second among Penguin runners. The Jonesboro, Ark. (Valley View HS) native clocked in with a time of 20:48.24.
