Gannon Men's Basketball Team Takes Perfect Record to Urbana for Saturday Afternoon Tilt

The Gannon men's basketball team will hit the road for the first time this season when it travels to NCAA Division II Independent Urbana Saturday, December 4. Game time is scheduled for 4 p.m.

Gannon is off to a 2-0 start for the fourth time in the last five seasons after winning the 27th annual Gary Miller Classic last weekend. The Golden Knights won their 10th classic title in the last 12 years with victories against 14th-ranked Cedarville (84-71) and Northern Michigan (79-68). The squad trailed for only 29 seconds the entire tournament.

Urbana is off to a 1-7 start, but two of those losses came at NCAA Division I Cleveland State (83-49) and Kent State (94-71). The Blue Knights also lost at 11th-ranked Kentucky Wesleyan (95-69). The squad's only victory was an 88-77 decision at Indianapolis, who defeated NCAA Division I Tennessee in an exhibition game.
