KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Senior Nathaniel Foster (Brampton, Ontario/Humberview Secondary School) of the University of Montevallo men’s soccer team (18-2-2) was named Second Team Daktronics All-America. Foster led the Falcons this season with 18 goals and 40 points. He was named First Team All-Peach Belt Conference and was the Most Valuable Player at the PBC Tournament.
He was named PBC Player of the Week twice this season. He currently ranks fifth in the NCAA in goals (18), eighth in points (40), 11th in goals per game (0.9) and 14th in points per game (2.0). He finished the season ranked first in points (40), points per game (2.00), goals (18) and goals per game (0.90) in the PBC while being ranked second in shots (65) and shots per game (3.25).
Sports information directors from NCAA Division II schools and conferences sponsoring men’s soccer selected the Daktronics All-America teams. The process begins at the regional level with all first team All-Region picks advancing to the national ballot. This is the fifth year Daktronics has sponsored the NCAA Division II men’s soccer All-America and All-Region teams.
