FELICIAN WOMEN'S BASKETBALL WINS FOURTH CONSECUTIVE GAME

EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. -- Felician College held Salem International University without a free-throw attempt in the Golden Falcons' 67-38 non-conference women's basketball victory on Friday afternoon at Koehler Fieldhouse. The game tipped off the 46th Annual Pocono Classic, a two-day tournament hosted by East Stroudsburg University. Felician (4-1) has won four consecutive games.

Senior forward Quay Baskerville (Hartford, CT) recorded 16 points, eight rebounds, five steals and two blocks, all team highs for the Golden Falcons. Teammate Tierra Cleaves (Paterson, NJ) (7-10 FG) also scored 16 points, and Felician freshman Katrina Plummer (West Babylon, NY) turned in 10 points and seven rebounds.

Felician held Salem International scoreless for the final eight minutes, 23 seconds, of the first half and turned a one-point deficit into a 27-17 halftime advantage. Still ahead, 33-23, with 16:28 left in the game, the Golden Falcons embarked on a 17-0 run over the next seven-plus minutes to take full control. The final 29-point margin was Felician's largest of the contest.

The Golden Falcons committed five personal fouls in the first half and six in the second, none of the shooting variety. By contrast, Felician was 17 for 24 at the foul line. The game marked the third time this season a Golden Falcon opponent scored fewer than 40 points and committed more than 30 turnovers (33).

Junior Treshaun Robertson (Melbourne, FL) had 10 points, 12 rebounds and four blocked shots for the Tigers (0-8).
