CSM remains undefeated with 78-65 victory over Colorado Christian; Minschwaner records fourth straight double-double

GOLDEN, Colo. (Dec. 4, 2010) – Colorado School of Mines defeated Colorado Christian University by the score of 78-65 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) men’s basketball action on Saturday night, December 4th, at Lockridge Arena.

The Orediggers’ Dale Minschwaner collected his fourth consecutive double-double as Mines remained undefeated at 5-0 overall (1-0 RMAC).  Minschwaner (13 rebounds, 8-of-11 FG) and Sean Armstrong scored 21 points apiece while Gordon Galloway (six rebounds) finished with 13 points.  Brett Green chipped in with nine points and Chris Goutama handed out six assists.

Abram Ziemer led CCU (1-3 overall, 0-1 RMAC) in points (19) and rebounds (eight).

The Orediggers will play at UC – Colorado Springs and Colorado State University – Pueblo on Friday and Saturday, December 10th and 11th, respectively.  Both games are scheduled to begin at 8:00 p.m.
