Brian Fekete and Lister Warren Earn All-American Status

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Brian Fekete and Lister Warren represented The University of Tampa on the 2010 Daktronics NCAA Division II Men's Soccer All-America Team as Fekete picked up second-team honors while Warren found a place on the third team.

Fekete, a sophomore defender from Plant City, Fla., started all 22 games and totaled three goals and five assists. He netted one game-winning goal and played 1,790 total minutes. The defensive unit that he led allowed the Spartans to outscore opponents by a 46-19 margin in 2010.

Warren, a senior from Spanish Town, Jamaica, also started all 22 matches and led the team with 12 goals. He also tallied five assists and a team-high 29 points. Among his goal were two game-winners.

Sports information directors from NCAA Division II schools and conferences sponsoring men's soccer selected the Daktronics All-America teams. The process begins at the regional level with all first team All-Region picks advancing to the national ballot. This is the fifth year Daktronics has sponsored the NCAA Division II men's soccer All-America and All-Region teams.

The team is sponsored by Daktronics, Inc., an acknowledged world leader in scoring, timing and programmable display systems for virtually every sport at every level of competition. The team is voted on by the NCAA Division II members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (D2SIDA), with the online nomination and voting process powered by UT partner ATHLETICSITE.COM.
