Bobcats Set to “Pack the House in Pink” Saturday

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – During the Georgia College basketball doubleheader against Lander University Saturday, Dec. 4, Zeta Tau Alpha will be sponsoring a “Pack the House in Pink” day beginning at 1:30 p.m.

Fans are encouraged to dress in all pink in support for breast cancer awareness. Free pink ribbons will be given out to those in attendance. The women’s game will begin at 1:30 p.m. while the men are scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m.

During halftime at the women’s game, a yogurt eating contest will be featured. The entry fee is $5 with a prize consisting of gift certificates to local businesses.

“Think Pink!” is the registered trademark of Zeta Tau Alpha, who’s official philanthropy is with the Susan G. Komen foundation. Throughout the year, with focus on breast cancer awareness month, ZTA distributes Think Pink! ribbons, breast self-examination calendar reminder stickers and shower cards.
