Klump named to All-GLVC Second Team

(Romeoville, Ill.) – Missouri S&T ‘s Samantha Klump was named to the All-GLVC Volleyball second team as announced on Thursday evening by the league office.

It marks the second straight season that S&T has had a player named to the all-conference’s second team.
Klump, a senior middle hitter from Ash Grove, Mo., led the Lady Miners in hitting percentage (35.1 percent), blocks with 1.07 per set and points with 3.88 per set. She was second on the team in kills averaging 3.07 a set. Klump was also amongst the league leaders in this categories as well finishing second in blocks, fourth in hitting percentage, fifth in points and tenth in kills.

S&T finished the 2010 season recording the program’s first ever winning season at 14-13, 7-7 in the GLVC.
