Seven Northwest Missouri State players selected all-region by SIDs

MARYVILLE, Mo.-Seven Northwest Missouri State football players were selected to the 2010 Daktronics All-Super Region 4 Football Team as selected by the region's sports information directors and released Wednesday.

Senior cornerback Ryan Jones and junior linebacker Chad Kilgore were first-team selections. Senior offensive linemen Dane Wardenburg and Jason Wiseman, junior wide receiver Jake Soy and sophomore return specialist Jordan Simmons were named to the second team offense. Senior linebacker Roberto Davis and senior linebacker Willie Horn were named to the second team defense.

Northwest's seven selections are the second-most in the region to Abilene Christian, which had nine honorees.

Jones, Kilgore, Wiseman and Soy are repeat all-region picks from a season ago. Kilgore is a first-team honoree for the second consecutive season. He and Jones will be placed on the national ballot for All-America honors.
