AUGUSTA, Ga. – The University of Montevallo women’s soccer team (6-11-2) was awarded two spots on the Peach Belt Conference All-Conference Second Team. Freshman Christine Prince (Ajax, Ontario/Pickering) and freshman Asgerdur Palsdottir (Reykjavik, Iceland/Verzlunarskoli Islands) were named to the PBC All-Conference Second Team.
Prince led the Falcons with seven goals this season including one game-winner. She also dished out two assists. Palsdottir was second on the team in goals with five including two game-winners and tied for the team lead in assists with four.
Prince scored five of her seven goals in conference games while Palsdottir scored three of her five in conference and had all four of her assists while playing against PBC foes.
Prince and Palsdottir will be part of a strong foundation of returning players for next year’s squad.
