Rogowski Named to 2011 Team USA Indoor Lacrosse Reserve Roster

NORTH ANDOVER, MA – Former Merrimack men’s lacrosse player Greg Rogowski (Cohoes, NY) was named to the 2011 Team USA Indoor Lacrosse Reserve Roster.

The only former Division II player on Team USA’s roster, Rogowski will compete with 15 other players on the reserve roster for five spots on the squad which will be announced in February.

Rogowski, the only four-time All-American ever at Merrimack in any sport, was a four-time first-team Northeast-10 honoree and was a two-time NE-10 Player of the Year. He led the Warriors to their first-ever Final Four appearance as a senior in 2009.

Rogowski, who graduated for Merrimack in 2009, was signed by the Boston Blazers on the National Lacrosse League (NLL) in September of 2010 for the 2011 season.

The World Indoor Lacrosse Championship takes place at Telsa Arena in Prague, Czech Republic on May 21-28, 2011. Australia, Canada, Czech Republic, England, Finland, Ireland and the Iroquois Nationals will join the United States in the one-week tournament.
