Robinson Prepares for Second Stage of PGA Q-School

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Former Georgia College golfer David Robinson advanced to the second stage of the PGA Qualifying School Saturday. 

Robinson tied for 15th place at eight-under par after firing rounds of 67, 71, 70 and 72.

The GC Hall of Famer and three-time All-American finished in the top-21 golfers who qualified for the second stage beginning Nov. 16.  Robinson has not been assigned to which course he will play next.

The Georgia College Department of Athletics, back-to-back winners of the PBC Commissioner's Cup, sponsors 10 varsity athletic programs at the NCAA Division II level. As a Division II program, Bobcat Athletics prides itself on balancing the life of the student-athlete, evidenced by the teams' multiple appearances in post-season competition as well as documented academic success and community-service involvement.
