CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Jeremy Gregory (Puyallup, Wa.) has been awarded the Swimmer of the Week honor for the Bluegrass Mountain Conference for his efforts this past week. The recognition is the first for Gregory this season.
Gregory continued his history making ways for the Royals by recording the program’s first-ever “A” cut and punching his ticket to the NCAA Championship in San Antonio, Texas on March 9-13. Gregory posted his automatic qualifying time in the 200 fly with a blazing mark of 1:48.09, more than one second under the standard time, the fastest in DII and the only “A” mark in the event. In addition to his fly mark, Gregory swam four “B” times in the 200 IM, 100 fly, 200 Free and the 100 back. Each event Gregory participated in he helped to set a new school record. Overall he set five individual records and five relay records.
