Honolulu, HI (11/17/10) – At the Island Design Center Women’s Night Doubles, the HPU pair of Celina Goetti and Zora Vlckova won their quarterfinal match and advance to play in tomorrow’s semifinal. Goetti and Vlckova defeated unseeded and current HPU teammates Carrie Shuler and Florie Paquay, 6-1, 6-2, to advance.
Also competing in the quarterfinal round from HPU were Aleksandra Stankovic and Sandra Wikstrom. They were defeated 6-3, 6-1 to second-seeded Barbara Pinterova and Katarina Poljaklova.
Goetti and Vlckova will play their semifinal match tomorrow at 7:15 p.m. All matches are being played at the Kailua Racquet Club.
