Brian Fekete and Lister Warren Named First-Team All-SSC

ORLANDO, Fla. - Brian Fekete and Lister Warren of The University of Tampa men's soccer team were both first-team all-Sunshine State Conference selections as Ryan Griffin and David Niepel earned a spot on the second team.

Warren and Griffin are both repeat selections on the all-SSC teams, earning respective first and second team honors in 2009. Warren leads the Spartans and the SSC with 12 goals and five assists. Griffin, a junior midfielder, is third on the team with 16 points while tallying seven goals and two assists. Five of Griffin's goals have also been game-winners, marking a team high.

Niepel, a freshman goalkeeper from Bad Breisig, Germany, has enjoyed a stellar first-season with the Spartans. In 18 games, he is 11-6-1 with a 0.84 GAA to go with an .819 save percentage. He also has seven shutouts while facing 212 shots.
