Argos Men's Soccer to face UAH in GSC First Round Friday

Kickoff Set for 7 p.m. in Last Semifinal Match on Friday

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Following a 5-1 win by Christian Brothers over Harding in Gulf South Conference men’s soccer action on Tuesday night, the final bracket has been determined for this weekend’s GSC Tournament.  West Florida, the tournament’s No. 1 seed, will face No. 4 seed Alabama-Huntsville in the first round on Friday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m.  The GSC Tournament is hosted by UWF and the Pensacola Sports Association at Brosnaham Park in Pensacola, Fla.

UWF and UAH faced each other once this season, and the Argonauts pulled out a 3-2 victory over the Chargers on Homecoming night in Pensacola.  The win marked the 200th career men’s soccer win for UWF head coach Bill Elliott.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the Argonauts GSC semifinals game versus Alabama-Huntsville, and fans can follow all of the action live at www.GoArgos.com.
