Football: Urbana 42, Missouri S&T 25

ROLLA, Mo. - Urbana's Boise Moon rushed for 226 yards and two touchdowns - part of a 444-yard rushing day for the Blue Knights - to lead it to a 42-25 victory Saturday at Missouri S&T.

Moon was one of three Urbana players to clear the 100-yard mark in the rushing department Saturday, as quarterback D.J. Mendenhall ran for 102 yards and Josh Turnbo finished with 100 yards; both players also scored touchdowns for the Blue Knights (3-6).  Moon had touchdown runs of 73 and 32 yards, while Mendenhall also threw two touchdown passes.

Missouri S&T (2-7) got a pair of scoring passes from Steve Watson, who had touchdown throws of 22 yards to Kevin Dillon and five yards to Chad Shockley, who finished with 11 receptions for 176 yards in his final home game for the Miners.   Curterris Golden also had an 18-yard touchdown run as part of a 96-yard day on the ground for S&T.

The teams combined for 1,043 yards of total offense, with Urbana finishing with 621 yards to the Miners' 422.
