Holley earns his second East Freshman of the Week award in the last three weeks after scoring a game-high 15 points and also contributing eight rebounds, six assists and four steals in a 66-52 win over Lincoln in the Marauders’ only game of the week. It marked the fourth time in as many games that Holley has led his team in scoring and he also posted career highs in rebounds, assists and steals. The freshman made just two shots from the field, both three’s, but hit on 9-of-12  free throws.

PSAC West Player of the Week

McQueen helped lead Clarion to an 83-70 road win over District of Columbia in the Golden Eagles’ only game of the week. The junior scored 20 points and was just one rebound shy of a double-double with nine boards. He scored his 20 points on an impressive 7-of-9 shooting from the floor (77.8 percent), including 4-of-4 from the three-point line and he also made both of his free throw attempts. He also added three assists and two steals. Prior to last Monday night’s game, McQueen had only hit two career three-pointers, but his trey with 8:18 left in the first half started a 21-2 run for the Golden Eagles that erased a one-point UDC lead and gave Clarion the lead for good.

Baker averaged 23 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game in a 1-1 week for Lock Haven, which included helping lead the Bald Eagles to their first win of the season. That performance earned him his first career start and he made the most of it as he scored a career-high 25 points and also added five rebounds while hitting four three-pointers and going a perfect 5-for-5 from the charity stripe to help lead the Bald Eagles to a 54-51 win over Bloomsburg.
