PSAC East Player of the Week
Alex Lennon, West Chester
F, So., Lansdowne, Pa./Shipley School
Lennon scored a career-high 26 points on 11-of-15 shooting (73 percent) from the floor and also had seven rebounds, three assists and four blocks to help West Chester to a 74-69 upset win over No. 8 Holy Family in the Golden Rams’ only game of the week. Lennon also shot a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line. She was the difference in the game at both ends of the floor as her presence in the lane not only allowed her to block a season-high four shots but also forced Holy Family into shooting just 31.9 percent from the field. She did so despite playing in just 31 minutes as she was in foul trouble for part of the contest, finishing the game with four fouls.

In recording her fifth straight game of double-figure scoring, Matter scored 14 of her 18 points and hauled in seven of her 10 rebounds in the second half, helping the Mounties erase a six-point halftime deficit.
PSAC West Player of the Week
Amy Achesinski, Mercyhurst

Achesinski earns her second straight PSAC West Athlete of the Week award after sharing the award last week. It marked her third straight double-double and the six assists were a season high while the 14 boards also tied for her best performance of the year. She shot 58.3 percent from the floor (7-for-12) and 80 percent from the free throw line (8-for-10). She blocked a shot in the lane in the final seconds of regulation, which led to a Mercyhurst fast break basket that tied up the game to send it to overtime.
