Four Mavericks Selected to NSIC All-Conference Teams

Senior Forward Jessie Audas was Selected First Team All-Conference

Mankato, Minn. --- Minnesota State senior forward Jessie Audas was announced to the 2010 Northern Sun Intercollegiate All-Conference First Team. Audas has three goals and two assists this season. The Omaha, Neb. native has played in 81 games in her MSU career, and has collected a total of ten goals and 15 assists for 35 points in her career. Audas was named to the NSIC Third Team in 2009.

Sophomore Forward Brittany Henry was named to the Second Team All-NSIC. Henry has a team-leading ten goals this season, and owns 21 points for MSU. In her two years at MSU, the Stillwater, Minn. native has 15 goals and four assists in the 38 games. Henry has three game-winning goals this season, along with three two-goal games. Henry earned the NSIC Offensive Player of the Week award Nov. 4.

Nicole Dooher, a sophomore forward, was named to the Third Team All-NSIC along with freshman midfielder Tori Meinhardt. Dooher has seven goals and six assists this season, with three game-winning goals. Dooher is second on the team in points with 20. Meinhardt scored a goal against Southwest Minnesota State and has started all 18 games for the Mavericks.

Sophomore midfielder Cassie Weik was an Honorable Mention All-NSIC. Weik has a goal and four assists this year.

Fourth-seeded Minnesota State takes on fifth-seeded St. Cloud State, today in the first round of the 2010 NSIC women's soccer playoffs. The match will be played at The Pitch on the campus of MSU at 2 p.m.
