BLOOMSBURG—Brittany McNeil (Oxford, Oxford Area) posted an NCAA “B” cut time in the 100-breastroke on Saturday, however, West Chester defeated the Huskies 171-91 at the Nelson Field House pool.
McNeil posted a time of 1:07.05, the second fastest time in school history and an NCAA “B” cut time, after swimming 1:07.05. McNeil also won the 200-breast race in 2:29.68, the seventh best time in school history.
Other top finishers for the Huskies included a second place finish for Rachel Nauman (Manheim, Hempfield) in the 1650-free with a time of 18:33.92, while Tori Hall (Newtown, Council Rock North)was second in the 100-back in 1:02.86.
In the 200-fly Madeline Barlow (Yardley, Pennsbury) was second in 2:17.82, while Lisa Ferrigno (West Chester, Bishop Shanahan) was second in the 100-breast in 1:10.85 with Nicole Martin (Ephrata, Ephrata) taking second in the 50-free in 25.11 seconds.
The Huskies host Mansfield, Edinboro and Kutztown on Saturday, Nov.6 in the final home meet of the season.
