NCAA Division II Wrestling Rankings

EDMOND, Okla. -- Two-time defending national champion Nebraska-Omaha remained atop the first regular season NCAA Division II wrestling rankings, with the Mavericks the unanimous pick in the NCAA Division II Wrestling Coaches Association poll that was released Wednesday.

UNO received all eight first-place votes in balloting of coaches from around the country to finish with 160 points. The Mavericks topped every poll the past two seasons en route to winning back-to-back titles.

St. Cloud State (Minn.) collected 150 points and maintained its No. 2 rating, while Augustana (S.D.) stayed third with 141 points. Western State (Colo.) moved up from sixth to fourth with 137 points and Newberry (S.C.) stayed fifth.

Rounding out the top 10 is Minnesota State, Findlay (Ohio), Nebraska-Kearney, Pittsburgh-Johnstown (Pa.) and Upper Iowa. UPJ made the biggest jump, moving from 14th to ninth, while North Carolina-Pembroke broke into the poll at No. 20.
