Senior guard Tomas Brock was named MIAA Men's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Senior guard Tomas Brock was named MIAA Men's Basketball Student-Athlete of the week, as selected by a conference SID panel. Brock scored a career-high 32 points in the upset win over #12 Central Missouri.

Brock went 9-of-11 from beyond the arc, including a perfect 6-for-6 against the Mules. Against Lincoln, the Mount Vernon native was just three assists from a double-double, scoring 25 points and dealing out seven assists. Brock shot 70.4% from the field, and a perfect 100% from the free throw line (10-10).

Along with his 32 points, Brock set career highs with six three-pointers and 11 field goals against UCM. During last week, Brock's scoring average rose from 9.7 points per game before the game against Central Missouri, to 14.4 points per game after facing Lincoln, currently good for the 14th-best average in the MIAA.
