Saint Anselm's Baudinet Named as Northeast-10 Player of the Week

Easton, Mass. (December 6) -- Saint Anselm senior All-American candidate Thomas Baudinet (Watertown, Conn.) has been named as the Northeast-10 Men's Basketball Player of the Week for his performance last week in a 2-0 week for the Hawks.

Baudinet averaged 26.5 points, 4.5 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game for the Hawks, along with shooting 60.6 percent from the field. His week was highlighted by a 40-point outburst in a home win over UMass Lowell as Baudinet knocked down 15 of 18 field goal attempts in the win. He was 6-for-7 from three-point land and shot 10-for-11 from the field in the second half alone.

Baudinet, now second in the Northeast-10 in scoring with 21.4 points per game, tied his career high of 40 points and is just the second Saint Anselm player to ever post two career 40-point or better games. His 40 points, 15 field goals made and .857 percent shooting from three are all Northeast-10 Conference season highs.

He is now 11th on the Saint Anselm career scoring list with 1,489 points after starting the season in 15th place.

Saint Anselm is off to a 6-1 start overall and returns to action on Tuesday night, traveling to Saint Michael's for a 7:30 p.m. start at the Ross Sports Center.
