ALAMOSA, Colo.- Adams State College athletic department officials have announced some holiday-related promotions in conjunction with the Grizzlies' upcoming home basketball games on Sunday and Monday.
Sunday's games, sponsored by Rio Grande Savings & Loan, against arch-rival Western State will include Santa Night festivities. Santa will be available for pictures (Bring Your Fans) and to take Christmas requests from children starting at 5:30 p.m. in the Plachy Hall lobby. Later in the evening, he will roam the crowd providing some extra holiday cheer.
On Monday, fans are encouraged to bring a canned or non-perishable food item, which will be donated to the San Luis Valley Food Network at this important time of year. Fans that participate will receive a $1 off admission, which is always a great value at just $6 for adults, $4 for seniors and students (7th-12th grade) and $2 for children 5 & older. Like always, children 4 & younger, Grizzly Club members and AS&F members will be admitted free but are still encouraged to bring a donation as well.
The Grizzlies take on Mesa State that evening, which is being sponsored by KSPK-FM & TV.
On both nights, the Grizzly women begin at 6 p.m. while the men tip-off their games at 8 p.m.
